Back in June 1999, Robert Field, Max Carr and Steve Pilkington started a business in Otley called Italik.  Focused on delivering IT consultancy specifically within the PC and midrange market, Italik now employs 35 people who are based at our Wetherby and Manchester offices and at client sites across the north of England.

Over the past 20 years we have worked with over 100 clients supporting their IT infrastructure requirements to build a secure foundation for business growth. We are proud that some of our team members have been with Italik through all or most of that journey.

To celebrate its 20 years in business, the team at Italik is marking the occasion with a year of charity fundraising.

We have chosen to support the MS Society – a charity close to our hearts, as one of our Italik team members was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  We are planning a range of events throughout the year including charity bake sales, an online gaming marathon, Yorkshire 3 Peaks Walk, cycling challenge, and others to raise an ambitious target of £3000 by the end of 2019.

As Robert Field, MD explains “Many members of the Italik team love a challenge, and in our 20th year of business it seemed appropriate to put all of this effort into one focused campaign to raise money for a special cause”

Simon Moran, Area Fundraiser for the MS Society, adds: “We are delighted that Italik has chosen the MS Society as the beneficiary of its 20 Year Charity Challenge. MS affects more than 100,000 of us in the UK, and donations like this help us to campaign at all levels, fund ground-breaking research and provide support and information. Together, we’re strong enough to stop MS.” If you’d like to give to Italik’s fundraising efforts, visit our fundraising page to donate
